Harikrishna was married to Lakshmi in the year 1973. While everything was smoothly sailing in the family. Shalini entered the house as a music teacher to teach children. At that point of time, Sr Ntr was rigorously active in politics he usually didnot hold on at home. Then Harikrishna was introduced to her. He himself would drive the car to drop her home. Introduction like that's turned more intimate and eventually they fell in love. 

Even though he was married to Lakshmi and the couple gave birth to Janaki Ram & Kalyan Ram was in stomach.

But still he gave her another camp. The family got to know about his relation with her and she was thrown away from the house as a music teacher. That dint stop there! They started living-in and she always stayed away from the family. Harikrishna helped her financially and Ntr was born. The intriguing thing is Harikrishna never introduced Shalini as his wife officially. She has grown Ntr into a superstar but she always stays at the backstage. Now, the family stays together.
